What should I ask?
Pretty simple, ask whatever you want to know about. Try to keep it appropriate, but otherwise, just be yourself!

Q: Hi! What model harp do you play?
A:
I play a Jack Faulkner Walnut 34-string harp. Jack passed on a few years ago, but luthier Roger Morgan took up the mantel and has been building the Faulkner model for some time now - he makes excellent instruments.

Q: I asked once before about possible appearances in Endicott NY at the Endicott Performing Arts Theater but got no response. How about it?
A:
Thanks for the venue suggestion! I've just returned from touring in Europe and will contact Lou and see if it's possible to organize a concert for Fall 2012.

Q: Hi,
I wish I could get to your concert at Apple Farm Friday night but I have a conflick. Is that a lever harp or a a pedal harp? Loved listening to you,
Barbara Bew Crowley

A:
Hi Barbara, sorry you weren't able to make the Appel Farm concert - it was a fun night! I play a 34-string Walnut lever harp made by Jack Faulkner. If you make it out to another show, please say hello!

Q: More a wish for good luck. I am 59 years old, which may not be your target audience but saw you on Music Box. I think you have a chance to be great. Are you still taking new CD donations?
A:
Hi Casey! I love 59 year-olds, and my target audience is basically anyone who's interested in quirky harp music.
The kickstarter campaign is over, but if you'd like to be involved as a backer of my new album, we're still in production and you can make a secure donation through Paypal here:
http://www.gilliangrassie.com/support
I'll honor any of the rewards/incentives from the donation levels outlined on my kickstarter campaign (www.gilliangrasise.com/kickstarter), except for the lap harp, because there was only one to give away! If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me here: gillian@gilliangrassie.com

Q: Hi Gillian...
Would you consider coming to Raleigh, NC for a concert? Our Koko Booth Amphitheater in Cary would be a great venue...
Tanya Guinn
A:
Hi Tanya, I would love to come to Raleigh for a concert. I do my own booking, so if you know who the contact person at the Koko Booth Amphitheater is, or if you would like to help me organize a show there, I'd be delighted to perform. Shoot me an email at booking@gilliangrassie.com
